Our promises

Most of what earns trust in a tool like this is invisible — it lives in what we refuse to do as much as in what we build. So here it is in plain language: what we protect, what we refuse, and what we're honest about. Everything below is already true, not a someday.

What we protect

Your words are yours alone.We never sell them — not in identifiable form, not as "anonymized" datasets — and we never use them to train AI. There is no clause further down that quietly takes this back.

Your identity stays separate from what the AI sees. Your account name and email are never sent to the AI provider — only the words of the session itself (and a session name only if you explicitly turn one on).

Your voice never leaves your device. If you dictate, transcription happens on your own device or browser; the audio is never sent to our servers, never stored, never used to train AI. Only the resulting text enters your session, as if you had typed it.

We run our own infrastructure, in the EU.Your sessions live on a database we operate and control — not handed to a large consumer cloud — and every content table is access-locked so no one can read another person's sessions.

You can delete everything, anytime.Delete your account and what's in it whenever you want; we keep only what the law genuinely requires.

What we refuse

No streaks, no gamification, no guilt. Insight comes from the quiet between sessions, not from daily pressure. We will never manufacture a habit loop to keep you opening the app.

No persona, no "AI companion." Arkhetia is a mirror, not a friend to get attached to. We deliberately refuse the relational hook that other products are built on.

No dark patterns in billing. Cancel in one click, anytime, and keep access until the end of what you paid for. We email you before every renewal, so a charge is never a surprise. No ads, no data brokering, no engagement-maximizing design. You are not the product. Nothing here is tuned to extract more time or more money than the work is worth.

We'd rather be honest than flattering.The reading is meant to show you something true — including where the mirror diverges from you — not to tell you what you want to hear. When nothing genuinely fits, we'd rather say nothing.

We won't change the deal on you silently.If we ever change the price, or anything that alters how your sessions feel, we'll tell you before it happens — never spring it on you. And if you already pay, we keep you at your price: a change is for new sign-ups, not a penalty for having been here early.

What we're honest about

Arkhetia is not therapy. It is not medical or psychological care, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. It is a space to understand yourself — a way of learning yourself through three perspectives — not a clinic.

It is private, but not legally privileged.We protect what you write to a high standard, but "not therapy" also means what you write here does not carry the legal confidentiality of a session with a licensed professional.

You are talking to an AI, not a person, and it is for adults (18 and over).
