Refunds & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: June 2026
We want Arkhetia to be worth what you pay for it. This is how cancelling, changing plans, and refunds work — in plain terms, and meant to be fair.
1. The free tier
Arkhetia has a free tier that needs no payment at all. You can keep using it without ever subscribing.
2. Cancelling
You can cancel a paid plan at any time, from your account or by writing to us. When you cancel, your plan simply stops renewing — you keep your paid access until the end of the period you already paid for, and then your account returns to the free tier. You don't lose Arkhetia; you just stop being billed.
3. Changing plans
If you upgrade in the middle of a billing period — say, from Standard to Intensive — we don't make you pay twice. We credit the unused part of what you already paid and charge only the difference for the rest of the period. Your renewal date stays the same, and from then on you renew at the new plan's price.
4. Refunds
Plans are billed in advance — for the month or the year ahead, depending on what you chose. If something went wrong on our side — you were charged in error, charged twice, or couldn't use the Service because of a problem we caused — write to us within 14 days of the charge and we'll make it right, with a full or partial refund as appropriate.
Outside of those cases, a period that has already started is non-refundable — monthly or annual — since cancelling already keeps your access until the end of what you paid for.
5. How to cancel or ask for a refund
Write to [email protected] from the email on your account and tell us what you need. We aim to reply within a few business days.
6. Merchant of record
Your payments are processed by our payment provider acting as merchant of record. Refunds go back to your original payment method through that provider and may take a few business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
